Infection Control Training is an OSHA required course designed for emergency responders in various fields who are required to possess a working knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices pertinent to their operational responsibilities. Infection Control Training is required as initial and annual refresher training for all emergency responders. This course will also review the Warren County Infection Control Plan and steps in dealing with an exposure. This program will also review patient confidentiality following HIPPA practices.
Prerequisites: Any member of WCFR actively engaging in emergency response should attend ONE of the course offerings.
